Firstly, Mummy says starting this week we’ll start blogging regularly again. I plan on holding her to that. I have fans who will not be denied! Mummy needs to consider that.
Secondly, I would love to share a wonderful story with you. As you may remember, I was the “pink” puppy in the litter – I had a little pink ribbon round my neck. Mummy’s starting to realise this was quite deceptive as I’m a rough and tumble tomboy. I am fearless and feisty and afraid of no one and nothing. Come on, take me on!
But I digress. Remember the wonderful Golden Retriever Forum mummy spoke about so much? Well one lady who goes by the handle “Claire’s Friend” had a beautiful Golden called Erin (aka Princess Erin). Erin passed away not so long ago at the age of 17 and a half. A pretty good life! Princess Erin was ALWAYS dressed in pink and Claire’s Friend has been following Mummy’s posts ever since Bridget passed away. When I was born, and when we found I was the “pink puppy” that Mummy would be getting, Claire’s Friend asked if she could send me a care package.
Well, it finally arrived two days ago and it was FULL of pink things!!!!! Mummy put them all on me to take pictures. I love my pink blanket and the squeaky heart. I just wanted to eat the feather boa – and I wasn’t really too happy about the pink bows in my ears but I wore them so Mummy could take pics to post on the forum and show Claire’s Friend.
Yeah, I’m a tomboy, but it was lovely that Claire’s Friend sent me all that swag – and it’s a beautiful testament to the memory of precious Princess Erin. So here I am… pretty in pink!
